Focus was part of the March for Human Rights last December 10, in commemoration of the International Human Rights Day, marking the 67th anniversary of the United Nations’ Declaration of Human Rights. About 200 activists from different social movements, civil society organizations, and human rights groups rallied along España, Manila and staged their protest at the foot of Mendiola Bridge, the site of the 1987 massacre. This mobilization is a part of a series of human rights activities last week, culminated in a solidarity and cultural night with human rights and peace advocates and indigenous peoples from Mindanao.
